The spirit of Ochos truly shines through its inventive cocktails and a diverse menu that caters to both the culinary curious and the classic palate. As Ashley P. Rodriguez points out, the service is impeccable, always accompanied by delicious dishes and refreshing drinks. On Fridays, the excitement peaks with salsa and bachata dance lessons, drawing in both enthusiasts and newcomers who wish to learn. But Ochos isn’t just about dance and drinks; it's about community. Lori Chase loves the welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing the historic character and friendly staff that make every visit feel special. Service was great, love the food and drinks. And Fridays are a great opportunity to come learn some salsa or bachata

I went for the Friday dance lesson, which was 15 cover. It was a great deal and awesome class and place to learn in. There is open dancing afterward, which was fun to watch. Theb kitchen closed at 9 pm, so nothing to eat after the class, but they kindly suggested that the taco place next door was still open and I could bring food back, which was appreciated. They have a wide variety of inventive cocktails and good staff.

I love Ochos: the drinks, the historic character of the building, the cozy atmosphere, the sweet patio, the friendly welcoming staff & owners, and especially the dance floor. Boise is lucky to have such a wonderful space for the dance community, with several different kinds of dancing to choose from on different nights.

Attended Voice and Jazz event. It was like magic. Great atmosphere and lots of things to do, including latin dancing. Want to learn?

If you want to have a conversation with friends or a date, this is one of the best places to choose. The vibe is cozy and no loud music playing, the patio is also great in the summer to chill.

Had drinks on the patio, 5 stars for sure, but I do wish they had softer seating...I am old. Drinks were deliscous!

Lovely little spot. Our servers were attentive and adorable, and the drinks were outstanding.

I had some time before the play I was watching at BLT started. I walked over to Ocho and the entrance, the vibe, the atmosphere called to me. In ordered a "dealing with the in-laws" or something similarly named (a very nice twist on the classic Sazerac) and a cheese and crackers. The cheese was a solid chonk of cheese, the crackers and fruit were fresh, and the bartender was engaging and friendly. The home renovated as a dance floor and bar felt like a party a family friend's house. Just comfortable and inviting. I'd highly recommend Ocho for anyone looking for a welcoming and unique environment.
